The school year is almost over, and it is time to reflect a little bit.
In your opinion, have you grown and changed since the beginning of this school year? If so, what changes and/or discoveries have you made about yourself this year? What do you think caused this change or discovery?
If you do not think you have experienced personal growth or discovered anything new about yourself, why not? Did you resist change, or did this occur by accident? Is there anything you would change now? It is never too late.
Once you have posted your response, read the responses posted by your peers and reply thoughtfully to at least two other students. Compliment strong points, make connections, ask questions and build on ideas shared!
Mr. Boettger :-)

ReplyDeleteThis year I have learned many things including history, before this year I knew nothing about Canada's history. I have also learned many things in math and geography and I understand things much more.
Lizzie
ReplyDeleteThis year I have learned many new things in math and lots of other stuff. I also grow, literally. I learned how to get along with computers. I know how to do way more stuff on them now. At this point I can not think of any more things I want to get to my story. Good Bye
Kirsten
ReplyDeleteYes, I think I've grown in many things such as, track-and-field, my learning skills, french and my knowledge for computers.
Some things I discovered about myself is that I grew taller by a few inches (I am as tall as my mom), and I can speak my mind without feeling upset by other people's judgement. I have also learned to conquer bullying more responsibly.

DeleteI agree with you on what you have said but i would had thought that you would had put that you have gotten better in math.
Kala
ReplyDeleteThis year I think I learned that I can over come different challenges and one of those challenges would be that a couple of years ago I started to go to Sick kids in Toronto. I also learned that the doctors found out that I need a back brace because I have Scoliosis of the spine. I need to sleep in this brace and it is very uncomfortable, but i learned that somethings in our lives may not always be fair but you have to do them. Luckily I only have to wear this brace for about 18 months. That is only one challenge I learned to over come and I hope there will be no others.

ReplyDeleteYes i do think that i have grown knowing new things and i have very much noticed my marks rising and i am happy about that. Once my marks started going higher than i thought then that i could get good marks like that.
Dustin: I think im more machure and i think i take this year alot more seriously cause im more machure i also discoverd that i actually like math and the other classes unlike the last couple years.
ReplyDeleteSarah L to Dustin:
DeleteThat is very good on how you grew and very true. I like how you were open about saying what you think you have grown on and I like how you are liking more subjects now and not only a few.

ReplyDelete1. Yes i think I've changed.
2. what i changed is that i fly threw most math with no problems, and that i now can say that i understander most of what Mr.Boettger says in science.
3. I think that i have made theses changes is that i try harder in math and i try really hard (EXTREMELY HARD) to not day dream well Mr.Boettger is talking.
Sarah L:
ReplyDeleteI think I have grown and changed since the beginning of the year.
The changes I made are I'm able to listen to others ideas and I am less shy because when new teachers come I get shy but I was fine right from when you came.
Robert: I have changed in getting better marks.
ReplyDeleteKristin:
ReplyDeleteI think lots of things have changed this year. What i think has changed a lot this year is my marks in several subjects my grammar and spelling has improved a lot. Its still not perfect but it has came a long way And if it weren't for Mr.Boettger forceing us to do Spelling in the morning it would have never happened.
Sarah L to Kristin:
DeleteYes your grammar and spelling has improved a lot.
Good For You!!!!
Wellzy
DeleteI agree with you but i still don't think that we should not have to do it every day like really twice a week sounds good.
Lizzie
ReplyDeleteKirsten I think you have grown alot hight wise and mind wise. I have noticed this year that you do speak up more and that is good. I myself have learned to use computers better too.
Lizzie
ReplyDeleteKristin, I have noticed that you have been getting better in spelling. I think you have also got better at talking with out getting tounge tied. I think it would be the spelling that helped you to do that.
Talon
ReplyDeleteSome things I got better at was writing and reading, that was my goal at the beginning of the year.

ReplyDeleteI think I have became stronger in school, I have also gotten stronger with activities at home. At school I have gotten better in math, and french thanks to all my friends helping me understand more clearly. At home I have gotten better at having a routine in the morning, to make sure all the animals have food and water, before I go to school. :)
