Mr. Boettger :-)
I was afraid to go in the ocean in Nova Scotia. We were going swimming at the beach and it was the Atlantic ocean. I was scared to go in because we had already seen jelly fish that day and I was afraid to run into them, sting rays and sharks. I over came my fear by waiting until everyone else was in the water then diving under.

DeleteHow I have got over my fear of jumping from a high height is because this summer my family went on a trip. There was a HUGE cliff there and I was really scared to jump. It was 30 feet in the air. The thing I was scared of is if when I was jumping I sliped and hit my head but.... I jumped I screamed the whole way down! After that it was a lot if fun!It just sucked when you got a mouth full of water.

I did the same thing this summer! I went to Kilbear on a camping trip and there were huge cliffs. I started off at the smaller cliff then worked my way up to the biggest one. It was super scary the first time, but there was a girl around the same age as me and she was terrified to jump. So i went before her to show her it wasn't scary.

The greatest fear I have overcome is Aiplane crashing when I go to florida or the Bahamas and this year, St lucia. It started when I watched the show mayday with my dad and thought what if it were to happen to me. I over came this fear by searching the amount of plane crashes a year and it was small so I dacided it is not likely to happen to me. I am still a bit afriad but not as much.

ReplyDeleteThis summer I went to a National Music Camp. For one of the activities they had was zip-lining. As I am afraid of heights it took me a lot of courage to do this, and I couldn't have done it without my friends encouraging me.
What is something that you have done that required courage?
ReplyDeleteSomething I did that took courage is, doing my history presentation in front of the clas. This took courage because I have stage fright. :$ It has always been my fear since grade 4. To over come this fear I can practice more. :^)
